Elk (eolh) Protection Pendant

In Norse mythology, the elk is a guardian acting like a shield, anticipating and defending against threats.

The elk is associated with the rune Algiz which is burnt into the back of this pendant. Algiz connects us to the gods, in particular Heimdall who is the protector of the Bifrost which links Miðgarðr (realm of the humans) and Ásgarðr (realm of the Æsir gods).
