Hela Elder Futhark Rune Set

Hela’s Elder Futhark Runes are made from Elder and the runes burnt into them by myself during ritual, they come with a burlap bag and a rune booklet wrote by myself.

Hela is a profoundly significant entity associated with the dominion of the deceased, referred to as Helheim. Hela is the daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboða, and the sister to the wolf Fenrir and the world serpent Jormungand. Frequently represented as a half-dead and half-living being that was not intentionally malevolent.

Hela’s tree is the Elder which were said to be the guardian of the Hel Road and were long associated with the Dead and the ancestors. Every part of an Elder tree is useful medicinally and were called “the medicine chest of the common people”.

Hela underlines the natural cycle of life and death, demonstrating the importance of recognizing and respecting this continuous process. In essence, Hela embodies the somber realities of mortality and the afterlife.
