Solar Skull

The old sun wheel is far older than the Viking age and is found across Bronze Age rock carvings and Norse imagery alike. This symbol represents not only the suns arc across the sky, but survival, growth, and the unbroken cycle of light returning after the longest night.

At the base and sides of the skull are the elder futhark runes, which are anchored into place by the sun wheel, thus reminding us that dawn always returns from the dark.

This is a Roe Deer skull which was ethically sourced from a deer that had already passed from this life, in choosing this skull you choose to honour the life of this beautiful Roe Deer.
